How does "ANDS-General" ( ... t?hl=en-GB ) relate to "ANDS Community"? The ANDS Community homepage contains an informative scope note ("An online environment where you can ask questions and exchange views about data sharing and data management"). ANDS-General contains no indication of scope beyond the description "Australian National Data Service." Would it be of assistance to include explanatory links on both sites to the other, and also to include links to both on a page within the ANDS website?

These are good questions and suggestions. At a broad level, we would like to use this board for discussion and debate, while using the Google Group mostly for announcements from ANDS. We should make that clearer on both. We will be publicising this board more widely in the coming days, and one of the mechanisms will be the web site. At time of writing, only a select few have been told about the existence of this board.
